OHIP COVERAGE
People 65 years and older and those younger than 20, are covered by OHIP once every 12 months for a routine eye examination provided by either an optometrist or physician.
OHIP covers people aged 20 to 64 years with specified medical conditions affecting the eye can receive an OHIP insured regular eye examination once every 12 months.
OHIP covers aged 20 to 64 with any of the following conditions can go directly to their optometrist or physician to receive an OHIP insured eye examination: diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, retinal disease and other medical conditions.

EYE EXAMS
Eye exams are done by a licensed professional optometrist on site. Please call 905-631-6588 to book an appointment with the eye doctor. Routine eye exams are important regardless of your age or your physical health. During a comprehensive eye exam, your eye doctor does much more than just determine your prescription eyeglasses. Doctors also check your eyes for eye diseases and assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.
